My Terrarium

This is a picture of my terrarium at school. We made it in science to see what plants and animals like. If you're wondering how to make a terrarium you simply get a container, put some soil in it, then you plant some seeds. You water the plants and make sure it gets sunlight. Make sure that you map out where you planted each seed to see how they grow. Our terrarium had 5 types of seeds. They were corn, radish, barley, clover, and pea.
We also tested environmental factors. An environmental factor is something in the environment that affects something like animals or plants. We had tested water tolerance or how much water the plants need. We found that if you keep the environment dry, the plants will not grow, but if you put in 40-80 mL of water in it will grow really well.
We had also put animals in our terrarium. We put isopods in our terrarium. Isopods like to have wet soil and be in the dark.
The plants that grew the best was about all of them. They all had grown but the best was probably corn. Both of our corn's grew really well. The plant that grew the worst was clovers. The clovers grew but then shortly died.
